It is tabloid in size and is South Africa's first totally interactive newspaper which publishes in tandem with the website www.thetimes.co.za. ''The Times'' has an interactive newsroom where reporters work alongside multimedia producers and photographers to produce content for the newspaper, the website and mobile phones.
''The Times'' is also available for purchase at a cover price of R4.00 in limited quantities.
The editor of ''The Times'' is Ray Hartley, the first South Africa newspaper editor with a blog.
The online version is called Times LIVE. It contains breaking news, sport, entertainment and opinion pieces as well as video, audio and photo stories and blogs.
